Chandler - Riggs Country Estates - $998,500
The owners of this elegant 6-bed rm/4.5 bath rm, 5,200 sq. ft
home had some furniture, but needed additional furniture and
accessories to showcase the dramatic features of their home. They
were also going to be living in their home with their two young
children for a couple more months while it was on the market.
I met with them at their home for a consultation ($150) and
advised them on what furniture we could work with and what they
should sell. We also discussed how to rearrange what they had to
show the rooms to their best advantage. I then provided a
written quote to provide upscale rental furniture and accessories
to showcase the key areas of their home. I limited the amount of
rental furniture to only the most critical areas to keep their costs
down.
They were eager to have the home staged, so I scheduled delivery
within two weeks. On the staging day, I arrived on-site at 9 am to
meet and direct the furniture movers. My assistant showed up
promptly and we started hanging pictures and placing plants and
accessories. Everything was in place by 4:00 pm when I did a
final walk-though with the owners. They were thrilled with the
results and sad to be selling now that the home looked so inviting.
The owner told me that the home was so well received it almost
sold on the first day that it was listed. Instead the owners, who
are now living in Germany decided to lease the home and they
instantly got an offer for a three-year lease. This will keep their
options open for the future if they return to Arizona or decide to
sell it at a later point.

Before: The kid's toys filled the foyer.
Before: The existing sofa and love seat
were too informal for this elegant living

bolted the art to the walls and wanted to
leave the art.
Before: The loft was a vacant space.
